St. Philip's is fairly unusual because the entire church plant was designed and built at one time in 1991. The building was carefully planned and includes all the basic needs of a church--nave, small chapel, offices, parish hall, kitchen, nursery, church school classrooms and a garden that also serves as a columbarium.
